He graduated from Middle East Technical University, Department of Public Administration in 1991. He received education at Ziraat Bank's Banking School for 9 months. He received his master’s degree in Banking and Finance at the University of Stirling in Scotland in 1997 with a scholarship from the Banks Association and the British Council Chevening Scholarship. Between 1992 and 2000, Mr. Eraslan worked at the Inspection Board of Türkiye İş Bankası. Subsequently, he served as Assistant Manager and then Group Manager in the Consolidation and Investor Relations Groups within the Bank's Accounting Department. In 2007, he was appointed Manager of the same department. During his tenure as Manager in the Accounting Department from 2007 to 2012, he also held positions as Auditor on the Board of Directors at İş Faktoring from 2004 to 2006 and at Türkiye Sınai Kalkınma Bankası from 2007 to 2008. Additionally, he served as a Board Member at Anadolu Sigorta from 2009 to 2011 and at Isbank AG Deutschland from 2011 to 2012.
In 2013, Eraslan was appointed as General Manager at CJSC ISBANK based in Russia. Between 2015 and 2020, he served as Deputy General Manager responsible for Internal Systems at Türkiye Sınai Kalkınma Bankası, and from 2020 to 2023, he was Deputy General Manager responsible for Finance at the same institution. Born in Istanbul in 1969, Aziz Ferit Eraslan is fluent in English and has basic knowledge of Russian. As of April 2024, he is serving as the General Manager of this bank.
