İbrahim Ethem Şahin was born in Gaziantep in 1985. A graduate of Middle East Technical University, Department of Economics and Istanbul Commerce University, Faculty of Law, Mr. Şahin started his professional career as an Assistant Inspector at İşbank Board of Inspectors in 2008. Until 2017, Mr. Şahin served as an Inspector at İşbank and then as Risk Management Manager at İş Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. for 5 years. Şahin holds Capital Market Activities Level 3, Credit Rating, Derivatives and Corporate Governance Rating licenses, speaks English fluently and has been working as the Head of Risk Management at Hedef Investment Bank since August 2022.
