Duygu Özer graduated from Galatasaray University, Department of Industrial Engineering in 1998.
She started her career as a system analyst at Koçbank A.Ş. IT Systems-Treasury Department in 1998 and continued her career at National Bank Treasury Liquidity Department in 1999. After working at Garanti Bank A.Ş. Treasury Department in liquidity, eurobond and TMU-Corporate Sales departments between 2001-2004, she joined the TMU-Corporate Sales Department at HSBC Turkey Treasury Department in 2004. In 2006, she joined JP MORGAN A.Ş. - Istanbul, Emerging Markets Derivatives and Marketing as Turkey - Treasury Sales Officer. She held this position until September 2008. Between 2008 and 2010, she worked as Marketing and Sales Director at Finans Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş. In 2010, She joined Türkiye Vakıfbank T.A.O. as Treasury Sales and Marketing Manager at Vakıfbank Treasury Management Department, a position she held until June 2019. Between June 2019 and 2023, he served as the Etiler Branch Manager of Türkiye Vakıfbank T.A.O.
